Those were the days for the Seattle Seahawks — Remember Herman “Thunderfoot” Weaver, too?

I agree that racism is on a decline — not nearly enough, but in a decline — thanks in huge part to the awareness we’re finally taking. My theory is that racism will be vanquished by extinction, not by changing the minds of some of the most entrenched mindsets still in existence.

Our kids’ generation has such a refreshing approach to diversity as a no-brainer and I learn SO much from my children on this. I see so many more things in common among people of all colors and socio-economic statuses and so much humanity in this world. It’s okay to acknowledge there’s work to do, but be proud of the progress being made.
