This teacher didn't keep me from an NFL career - my lack of ability did! Also the lack of persistence to become a good player, at all. I had a high school teacher who didn't believe i wrote my term paper, and I failed 11th grade English. She's the one I'd like to find again, after 20+ years writing for a meager living!

And while you're right, the odds are highly against an kid at any school becoming a pro quarterback, at that age, I'd have been beaming if a teacher just said, "when you get there, I better get 50-yard-line seats!" We have to remember reality, but not at the expense of our dreams. Thanks again!
