If you look up at the big picture, it’ll scare the hell out of you. It’s taken me a while, but I’ve found a way of navigating this quagmire — or at least fool myself into thinking that I have: I do those things essential to me first and let the rest sort itself out. It’s crazy. It’s easy, too, once you get momentum.

Those demanding relationships you have, especially online? The ones worth keeping will grant you grace and a grace period that doesn’t expire. Those who don’t? They’ll find someone else’s feathers to ruffle under their imposed deadlines and perceived lack of attention.
